Leehey, Research Director of the Paul Revere House, will present authentic
details of the famous ride, and many other details about Paul Revere
himself, his business, etc.

ABIGAIL ADAMS & THOMAS JEFFERSON
Karen Yourell and Michael LePage, Adams National Historical Park
Rangers, will portray Abigail Adaams and Thomas Jefferson. What
caused the feud between the two families? How did Abigail repair the
31/2 year silence between these friends?

TEN HOURS UNTIL DAWN Audio recordings
were taped during the Blizzard of '78. Michaiel Tougias takes the viewer
though an incredible night when many lives hung in the balance. The
pilot boat Can Do set out to assist a lost Coast Guard boat and an
oil tanker in a May Day situation. It is a story of heroism and a
portrait of determination of the human spirit.

AGNES SURRIAGE Libby Franck will
portray Agnes Surriage, a fisherman's daughter who, in 1740, caught the
eye and the heart of a British aristocrat. They had an estate
in Hopkinton and later moved into Sir Harry Frankland's 26 room
house in Boston. Society in the US and in England caused the two
lovers to fight for acceptance. Agnes is a local legend, and Libby gives a
well researched performance - human and believable. This is a
romantic story told by an expert storyteller.

Turino of Historic New England will help us discover how we arrived at the
celebration of Chrismans today. It was not an accepted celebration
for many years in these parts.

HISTORY OF SPECTACLES Dr. David
Fleishman, a retired ophthalmologist, will present a program on the 720
year development of eyeglasses from the first simple pair invented by an
artisan from Pisa, Italy. Dr. Fleishman's program has been
accredited by the American Board of Opticianry and the Amercian Academy of
Optometry.

WINSTON CHURCHILL - The Boston Visits Joseph
L. Hern, head of New England Churchillians, affiliated with The Churchill
Center in Washington, DC, will deliver a multi-media talk retracing
Churchill's steps during his four visits to Boston in 1900, 1932, 1943 and
1949 - what he said, contemporary reports of his visits, and what these
visits reveal in learning more about Churchill himself.
