Thursday, November 10, 2005 TEN HOURS UNTIL DAWN

Audio recordings were taped during the Blizzard of '78.  Michaiel Tougias takes the viewer though an incredible night when many lives hung in the balance.  The pilot boat Can Do set out to assist a lost Coast Guard boat and an oil tanker in a May Day situation.  It is a story of heroism and a portrait of determination of the human spirit.

Thursday, December 8, 2005 AGNES SURRIAGE

Libby Franck will portray Agnes Surriage, a fisherman's daughter who, in 1740, caught the eye and the heart of a British aristocrat.  They had an estate in Hopkinton and later moved into Sir Harry Frankland's 26 room house in Boston.  Society in the US and in England caused the two lovers to fight for acceptance. Agnes is a local legend, and Libby gives a well researched performance - human and believable.  This is a romantic story told by an expert storyteller.
