The Wrentham Historical Society Database

The Wrentham Historical Society Database currently resides in the Genealogical Room of the Fiske Public Library in Wrentham, MA.   Over 50,000 historical records are indexed  in a  fully searchable FileMaker Pro database.  These  records span approximately 350 years, beginning in the early 1600's with the incorporation of the town of Wrentham until the year 2000.   The majority of this information was gathered and donated by Mr. Joseph MacDougald.  Over the years, Mr. MacDougald used  a variety of  primary sources (such as diaries, manuscripts, vital records, cemeteries, etc.) as the basis for his collection.    Thanks to a generous donation from the MacDougald Foundation, the database was created and organized by Nancy Tupper Ling, M.L.S while under the supervision of the Society's President, Jean Nall.  Also, many WHS members volunteered hundreds of hours of their time to this project. We invite the public to access the database during regular library hours:    Monday (10 am-8 pm), Tuesday (1 pm-8 pm), Wednesday (10 am-8 pm), Thursday (10 am-8 pm), Friday (10 am-5 pm), Saturday (10 am-4 pm).
